BOE Announces New Eyesafe Display Solutions Achieving Industry Leading Low Blue Light and Full Color Performance – Eyesafe®, the world leader in blue light solutions for the display industry and BOE Technology Group Co., or BOE, the industry leading display manufacturing company for consumer electronics brands, announced today that its first displays have met the requirements for Eyesafe Display Certification for Low Blue Light and Color Performance. The testing certification was conducted by TÜV Rheinland, the globally recognized leader in independent third-party testing for manufacturing. The Eyesafe Display certification will enable BOE to meet rapidly growing demand from leading consumer electronics brands that are incorporating Eyesafe Display Low Blue Light Safety Requirements into their products, ranging from monitors, laptops, all-in-ones, and other display products.

TÜV Rheinland Announces Eyesafe Display Certification Program for Next Generation Low Blue Light Health and Safety Requirements for the Global Display Industry

Beginning March 9, 2020, TÜV Rheinland will now be testing and certifying the Eyesafe® Display Standard, the most comprehensive set of requirements in low blue light management for the display industry. The Eyesafe® Display Standard constitutes the industry’s most advanced blue light emission and color performance requirements based on over 250 research studies and input from leading physicians worldwide. The new certification process will assist the electronics display industry, from component suppliers to consumer brands, with a guiding set of requirements for the development of low-blue light emitting displays guided by health research.

Eyesafe Releases Blue Light and Screen Time Guides for Employers, Health Insurance Providers, and Educators to Support Knowledge Sharing and Solutions
