From May 10-12 of Display Week, Eyesafe exhibited in the Innovation Zone (I-Zone) – a space where start-up companies and academic organizations unveil groundbreaking proof of concepts and prototypes. At the Eyesafe exhibit, demonstrating a new technology that not only reduces blue light toxicity in displays but can also improve color gamut, luminance and/or battery performance.
October 10 is Blue Light Awareness Day
In 2019, California and Senator Pan unanimously passed the State Blue Light Resolution SCR-73 establishing Oct. 10 as Blue Light Awareness Day, purpose is to encourage all Californians and their children to “consider taking protective safety measures in reducing eye exposure to high-energy visible blue light.” Eyesafe is a proud supporter of the Blue Light Awareness Day campaign.
