Job Summary:

We are seeking a versatile and experienced Product Owner with a minimum of 5 years in product and program management within the consumer electronics and accessories industry. This role combines strategic product ownership, cross-functional program management, and customer success. As a Product Owner, you will oversee the entire product lifecycle, manage stakeholder alignment, ensure customer project implementation success, maintain product quality, and drive customer satisfaction. This position requires a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, with strong leadership, communication skills, and a customer-focused mindset.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Customer Project Implementation
  • Manage the implementation of customer-specific projects, coordinating timelines, deliverables, and resource needs.
  • Work closely with customers to define project scope, goals, and expectations, ensuring successful outcomes.
  • Serve as the point of contact for customers throughout the implementation, addressing any issues and aligning with their objectives.
  1. Product Ownership & Roadmap Development
  • Define product vision and roadmap for consumer electronics and accessories, aligning with market trends and business goals.
  • Collaborate with market research and data teams to identify consumer needs and emerging technologies in the industry.
  • Ensure product features and benefits address end-user needs and enable competitive differentiation.
  1. Program Management & Execution
  • Lead project timelines, milestones, and resource allocation to ensure successful product development and delivery.
  • Work closely with engineering, design, sales, marketing, and customer support teams to align on project objectives and deliverables.
  • Manage the product development process to balance quality, cost, and delivery timelines.
  1. Product Structure & SKU Management
  • Develop and maintain product structure for efficient inventory management and streamlined product lineup.
  • Oversee SKU creation, organization, and lifecycle for accurate tracking, cataloging, and reporting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize product setup, pricing, and SKU requirements for global launches.
  1. Product Quality & Customer Satisfaction
  • Oversee product quality assurance processes to ensure that products meet both internal standards and customer expectations.
  • Gather customer feedback to inform product improvement initiatives and prioritize quality enhancements.
  • Drive overall customer satisfaction by proactively addressing customer needs, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive product experience.
  1. Stakeholder Communication
  • Act as the primary liaison between internal teams and customers, providing regular updates on progress, challenges, and metrics.
  • Present performance metrics, market insights, and product updates to senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Facilitate effective decision-making and problem-solving to address any project or product-related challenges.
  1. Market Analysis & Product Lifecycle Management
  • Analyze market trends, competition, and customer feedback to refine product positioning and support future enhancements.
  • Manage the product lifecycle from ideation to end-of-life, ensuring product relevance and profitability throughout.
  1. Risk Management
  • Proactively identify and mitigate potential project and product risks to minimize impacts on development and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure regulatory and compliance standards are met throughout product development and customer engagement.
  1. Process Improvement
  • Continuously improve product, program, and customer success management processes, implementing best practices and operational efficiencies.
  • Champion agile methodologies and drive process innovation for efficient product iteration and improvement.

 

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in product management, program management, and customer success within the consumer electronics and accessories industry.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Product Management, or a related field.
  • Travel up to 50%

 

Skills:

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable product and customer strategies.
  • Excellent project management skills, with experience coordinating complex, cross-functional programs and customer implementations.
  • Experience in SKU management, product structure design, and familiarity with inventory management best practices.
  • Exceptional customer success orientation, with a proven track record of managing customer relationships, ensuring high satisfaction, and achieving project success.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, able to build cross-functional partnerships and engage customers effectively.
  • Familiarity with product lifecycle tools and agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum).
  • Passion for consumer electronics and accessories, with a deep understanding of industry trends and customer needs.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with both hardware and software aspects of consumer electronics accessories.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Asana, Jira) and data analysis tools (e.g., Tableau, Excel).
